TAXIM-O Drops

Main constituent  of TAXIM-O  is Cefixime which is a antibiotic drug use in the treatment of bacterial infection, belonging to the cephalosporin class of anti- biotics. It's work by preventing the formation of bacterial cell wall. This drug belongs to 'schedule H1' (Click here for DRUG SHEDULES)

Compositions: Each ml of reconstituted suspension contains,

                         Cefixime IP(as Trihydrate) equivalent to Anhydrous Cefixime................25mg

Indications: Treat infection of Urinary system( Cystitis, kidney infection), Infection of Chest and lungs(Bronchitis, pneumonia ), Infection of ear, nose, sinuses(sinusitis)

 

Dosage: As directed by the Physician

Directions for use: Shake the bottle well to loosen the powder. Slowly add sterile water provided with the pack up to the arrow mark on the label and shake well. Add sterile water if necessary to adjust the volume upto the arrow mark. This makes 10ml of Suspension 

Use the suspension within five days of preparation.

Storage: Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 degree C. Protect from moisture.

Common side effects : Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach pain , Indigestion, Dizziness, Headache, Feeling in genital or vaginal area.
