Pre-eclampsia is a potentially dangerous condition occurs in pregnant women that can affect the women and her unborn baby.

During pregnancy a high blood pressure can be a sign of pre- eclampsia Symptoms of pre - eclampsia include:

• Headache
• Vision changes
• Abdominal pain
• Swelling due to edema
